Registration, lunch and pre festival activities start at 1230pm on Thursday July 16th with the opening plenary at 3pm, and ends 4pm on Saturday July 18th 2015. The provisional programme is now available (pdf download).
Prices are set to encourage diverse participation. They cover all 3 days, there are no single day tickets. Prices include meals but accommodation at Brathay Hall is charged separately and is bookable on a first come first served basis. Additional accommodation is available in and around Ambleside; see Ambleside accommodation for ideas.
Registration: 400GBP per person.
25% discount – by invitation (300GBP).
50% discount for staff of charities, public bodies or universities, and for students (200GBP).
75% discount for staff, students or alumni of the University of Cumbria or The Brathay Trust (100GBP).
Thanks to sponsorship, we are offering a free children’s programme for delegates. This involves indoor and outdoor activities organised by professionals in youth development from the Brathay Trust. In addition, professional babysitting is available for free. The capacity is for one child per delegate and places are limited. The nearest airport is Manchester and the nearest train station is Windermere. Transport to and from Windermere will be provided.
A variety of accommodation is available, on a first come first served basis, at the conference venue, Brathay Hall; details can be requested via the booking form. Additional accommodation is available in Ambleside Ambleside accommodation. A programme of activities for children will be organised during the research festival.
